Bonded magnet is made
through "compression
molding" or "injection
molding" of the mixture of
quick-quenched NdFeB
magnetic powder and bonding
agent. Due to its high
accuracy in size, the bonded
magnet may be formed into
magnetic components of
relatively complicated
shapes. The injection molded
magnet has a high mechanical
strength and may be molded
together with other matching
parts. In all it is produced
with high efficiency,
stability and repeatability;

Free choice of magnetizing
direction-especially for
multi-polar applications;
High dimensional
accuracy-large quantity
applications with minimum
post-press machining;
Thin-wall ring and complex
shape magnets; High
resistance to corrosion.
Usually, there are bonded NdFeB magnet and bonded SmCo.
Smco (Samarium Cobalt)
magnets are highly resistant
to corrosion and require no
special surface treatment.
This makes SmCO magnets an
excellent choice for compact
designs where high
temperature environments may
be required

Two types of SmCo magnets
are SmCo5 and Sm2Co17. SmCo5
has the maximum energy
products of 18MGOe,
comparing with the Sm2Co17
30MGOe, 2-17 composition is
also more corrosion
resistant and more stable at
very high temperature. The
maximum working temperature
is between 250 centigrade
degree to 350 centigrade
degree.
SmCo magnets, ab. for
Samarium Cobalt Magnets,
existed in SmCo5 magnet and
Sm2Co17 magnet, are
available the designer a
tremendous combination of
extremely high magnetic
properties, outstanding
thermal stability and
excellent corrosion
resistance.
These Characters make SmCo
the ideal material in
applications like
servo-motors, pump
couplings, and sensors,
particularly where the
magnet is required to
operate at high temperature,
across a broad temperature
range of in a corrosive
environment.
SmCo magnet is a high
performance, low temperature
coefficient permanent magnet
which made of samarium and
cobalt and other rare-earth
elements. Its biggest
advantage is its hight
working temperature---350o
C. It needn't to be coated
because it is difficult to
be eroded and oxidized. SmCo
magnet is widely used in
motors, watch, transducers,
instruments, positional
detector, generators, radar,
and etc.
